- Website analytics: Anonymized usage data (pages visited, device type, general location) collected through Microsoft Clarity when the Clarity project ID environment variable is configured.

Data retention
SCF retains donor and subscriber records as required for tax and legal compliance. Donation records are retained for a minimum of seven years per IRS guidance for 501(c)(3) organizations. Newsletter subscriber data is deleted upon unsubscribe request. Email inquiry records are retained for a reasonable period for operational purposes and then deleted.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information SCF holds about you by emailing info@yourscf.org. SCF will respond to verifiable requests within a reasonable time. Note that we may be required to retain certain donation records for legal and tax compliance purposes regardless of deletion requests.
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). SCF does not sell personal information and does not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
Children's privacy
This website is not directed at children under the age of 13. SCF does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to this site, contact info@yourscf.org and SCF will delete it.
